Data controller

The controller of your personal data is OZMEC TECHNOLOGIES d.o.o., Ljutomerska cesta 38A, 2270 Ormož, Slovenia (VAT ID SI40661059, registration No. 8845778000). For any question about your personal data, write to info@ozmec-technologies.com.

What data we collect

We process the data you give us directly: contact details and message content from the contact form, order and invoicing details, and application documents (CV, cover letter and attachments) submitted for job openings. When you browse the website, our hosting provider may process basic technical log data (IP address, time of visit, requested pages) required to operate and secure the site.

Purposes and legal bases

We process personal data to respond to your inquiries (legitimate interest), to prepare quotations, fulfil orders and process payments (performance of a contract), to evaluate job applications (steps prior to a contract, at your request), and to meet legal obligations such as accounting and tax retention (legal obligation). We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling.

Sharing with third parties

We do not sell or rent your data. We share it only with service providers that are strictly necessary for our operations — for example hosting, e-mail, accounting and delivery partners — each bound by a data-processing agreement, and with authorities where the law requires it. Where a service is provided from outside the EU/EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

Retention

We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purpose it was collected: inquiry correspondence up to two years after our last contact, contractual and invoicing data for the period required by Slovenian accounting legislation, and application documents until the recruitment procedure is completed — or up to one year if you consent to keeping your application on file.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its processing, to receive it in a portable format, and to withdraw consent at any time. You can also lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner of Slovenia (Informacijski pooblaščenec). To exercise any of these rights, write to info@ozmec-technologies.com.

Security

We protect personal data with technical and organisational measures appropriate to the risk — access controls, encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access limited to staff who need it for their work.
